This place would be perfect if the staff would look like they like their jobs. Maybe greet the people who keep you in business as they walk thru the door? Just a suggestion. Its not like you are making gourmet food that takes forever. The service is way too slow. And the staff talks to each other about personal business instead on focusing on the task at hand. No one wants to hear about your personal like when most of the people that go here are on a 30 min work break and have a minimum about of time! Food is always great.. no complaints there...prices are a lil much but i will pay because it's good. Just please fix the service, have someone on the register waiting to help people instead of the customer looking around to see who can help them. Fix the staff and you will have even more business.

The last two times I've ordered takeout from here they messed up my order. One of the time they didn't give me all the food that I was charged for, and both times the items they gave me were wrong.

The WORST service ever. I ordered a kids pizza for my son and a Chicken TBM for myself. 45 minutes later I had to go up to the cashier to request my sons food. 10 minutes after that I was served the WRONG sandwich! In fairness, the poor chef is banging out orders by himself while I witnessed the manager or owner ( not sure of his title) aimlessly wandering around sipping his coffee and gazing lovingly at his laptop. I definitely will not be coming back here.

It was my first time here in a few years. I stopped in for dinner around 8pm. Everyone was very friendly. I was a little disappointed to see that the menu was pretty much the same because I wanted a melt and they were the same. I ordered the same thing that I used to order in high school, chicken TBM Melt. It was very good but the bread was very hard around the edges which hurt my mouth and teeth. I also got a side order of Mac and cheese which was very very good.

Had lunch with a girlfriend here today, let's break it down. Food- 3.5 stars, if sizes were bigger, I'd make it 4 stars Service- 2.5 stars, i don't think they like their jobs Atmosphere 4, it is a "Cosi" in here, and great to chat for hours on end.

The bread is delicious but almost every time I customize my order, it's not made properly it's one particular employee that seems to always screw up and I'm starting to think its on purpose. It's to the point that if I go in and see her working, I leave. But the place is literally right down the street from my house and the food is good so I keep going back. Other locations are better though.

I love the choices but it's hit or miss here. Once they were out of cheddar (on a Friday) for my cheddar melt and a component of my meal has been missing or incorrect more than 3 times. My pet peeve is managements inability to order inventory. I love the bread pudding and they ALMOST never have it. Management has promised to have it the next day (on them) and still no bread pudding. I've lost hope. I get my standard meal every time because it's the only thing that's consistently satisfying and I check the entire order before I leave every time so that I'm not disappointed and have to come back when I get home.

Do not come here. Spend your money and time elsewhere. I've been to this Cosi location at least a couple dozen times as I used to work in the same plaza--but I just can't do it anymore. The woman who usually works in the morning is always friendly and efficient, but everyone and everything else here is complete crap. 9/10 times I come here I'm standing by the register waiting to be acknowledged for a few minutes. Not even a "Hello, be right with you!" Just completely ignored. Then once you place an order, expect to wait a good long while, even if there's only one or two other customers in the store at the time. The management of this location is terrible. During the lunch hour, the trashcan is always overflowing. the stone tables have chips in them that I've cut myself on, and more than one of their booths have huge gashes in the them. This isn't some hipster-dive bar where such a thing would be accepted--this is supposed to be a clean, comfortable place to get a meal. The music is always obnoxiously loud, and many of the employees have inappropriate conversations seemingly unaware they are in earshot of their customers. The internet here works less than half the time, and there is not a single electrical outlet in the entire seating area for you to plug in a laptop or phone. That would be fine if this were a small, quaint local cafe where you shouldn't be hanging around and taking up seating for others--but this is a large location, with ample room to accommodate such things (why have public wifi if you don't want people to use it?)--and Cosi fancies itself as an alternative to Panera and Starbucks--a place you can grab some food, coffee, and hang around a while talking with friends, doing some work, etc. Today was the last straw. I threw away my coffee and went to the Panera to be greeted when I arrived, served promptly, sit in a chair that wasn't cut open, and use a working wifi connection. Sorry Cosi, I won't be back.

Coming to this Cosi i didn't expect anything more then 2 stars. I've had several people tell me about this location and its services / foods. Surprisingly enough i found it to be A-OK! its a quick place to come and eat lunch near by the Elkins Park area. the seats could use a bit of cleaning but when i came i didn't expect them to be the best seats in the world anyway. My Chicken Pesto Sandwich came out pretty good as well. i didn't get a stomach ache or anything after eating it, just a pleasantly filled belly, and a little extra money in my wallet if i had eaten somewhere pricier. So final note is that i will come back again for lunch.

I'm just updating. Um... so there are 5 people making/prepping food and I was the only person that had placed an order and there were 3 people seated. So... it took 15 minutes to get 2 salads. I was observing the man making my salad pull up his ever falling pants with his gloved hand that he was reaching in the salad bins to grab the lettuce. The manager (I think?) losing his cool and yelling across to customers asking if they wanted white bread or not, to which the customer just said "Whatever is easy for you". the bread maker telling the manager to calm down and the food runner just being super slow. All need further training, STAT!

People are nice but coffee beverages suck. Food takes forever. If it's your correct order it is prepared sloppy, and NO SMORES! WTF?! The woman at the counter is very pleasant, and the dude that makes the bread is funny. The two stars are for them.

Really just a miss for me. The ambiance is a lot like Panera but the food is far from it. They specialize in all things flatbread, with soup, salads, flatbread sandwiches, and flatbread pizza. I dont really think flatbread is something to base a whole restaurant off of, as it's really not that popular in general? Anyway the staff was really nice, but I cannot recommend the food. The Chicken Pasta soup had no chicken in it, and the pasta was more like couscous. Probably will not be returning.

I live right around the corner, and for convenience, I stop by frequently. Unfortunately, I am disappointed nearly every time. The coffee and the coffee drinks are awful. The salads& sandwiched are mediocre, after a minimum of 10 min wait for them to be prepared. The service is slow, unorganized, and apathetic.

I've had the same food here as in cc Cosi's. Staff can seem a bit out of it but always pleasant to me. Coffee needs an upgrade. The huge plus is the space w huge glass windows on two sides and artwork hanging all around from local students. I feel great sitting there w so much light. Great room to hang out in.

Apathetic staff, subpar food, generic atmosphere. I used to visit the Cosi at 12th and Walnut several times a week and never had a bad experience. I was excited when Cosi followed me on my move out to the suburbs, but this place is awful. The service at this location is consistantly terrible. The staff always seems to be learning the register and are unaware of most menu items. The bathrooms are messy with toilet paper and paper towels sitting, damply, on any available surface.

At first, this Cosi was great, up to par with the 30th Street Station resturant. However, over the past 6 months, the service and food has been horrible. The food never has everything listed on the menu and the orders are always incorrect. It took over 10 minutes to heat my sandwich after they forgot to do so initially. The staff is also very lax. I have walked up to the counter, waiting for my order to be taken. The whole time I was waiting, a girl was standing there on her cell phone and she acknowledged my presence, yet still didnt help me. Definately avoid this place!

I like Cosi as the salads are made fresh and the dressings are delicious! I especially like the steak salads. Would give Cosi 5 stars, if they weren't so pricey. Surprised so many so so reviews! Maybe since I have been going there, Cosi cleaned up their act?

I really love the food at Cosi, but I absolutely hate this location. Each Cosi restaurant is unique and unfortunately this one is just a disaster. I have eaten here fairly regularly since this one opened in 2006, so I have no shortage of stories about screw-ups and thoughtless mistakes these folks have made. In fact, there was a run of about 5 visits in a row where some component of my very simple salad order was mangled. I don't order anything complicated and I know better than to modify an order at this location. Even still, these kids manage to get something wrong nearly every visit. Granted, the mistakes are usually not much more than an annoyance and certainly not worth traveling 15 minutes to the Willow Grove Cosi to avoid. With that said... The motivation to publish my own Yelp review came from a particularly bigoted exchange I overheard between two employees. As many locals are aware, Elkins Park has a fairly robust Jewish population. (That is merely an objective observation made by a fellow member of said Elkins Park Jewish population.) One might imagine my absolute horror when two young employees made NO effort to lower their voices or hide the fact that they both enthusiastically felt that a patron had complained about her order (legitimately, I may add) because she was "an old Jew." I have no intention of ever going back to this location.

I've like the coffee-house atmosphere of the Cosi's downtown, but this place is just sad. First, the cashiers or whomever takes the orders are slow as molasses. Why does it take you 5 minutes for one person to order? After that, they generally get your food order wrong. Ordered a roast veggie with blue cheese spread (warm). I finally got it in the car and looked. It was a cold sandwich made up almost entirely of lettuce. The manager actually looked through the bleepin' sandwich to verify this. I was there a few days ago and asked to for a calorie count of their menu items. Took 2 people and several minutes to figure that one out. No, I don't need to know if it has nuts in it. Ugh. They need much better customer service. Everyone acts like they took a decongestion pill. Don't get me started on what they call soup!

I like Cosi, in general, but this place is lacking in customer service. Don't call up and place an order b/c you will be on hold for 10 minutes. If you hang up and call back they will get an attitude. This has happened twice to me, but I can't blame the brand b/c its the training of the staff that needs help. The signature salad is yummy and I can't break myself from the addiction. So I would say 5 starts for Cosi, 1 star for this particular location b/c of the customer service and the fact that I have a salty and stank attitude after speaking with them.

I'm shocked by the lack of good reviews of this location. I usually go here for breakfast, but for lunch, their pizzas are the best. I'm always greeted and my order is always correct. I love their breakfast sandwiches and they're always ready in less than 5 minutes after ordering. The local artwork is adorable and provides a comfortable feel.

This place is right up the street from me and oh how i wish it was good in this cafe starved area. The staff is nice and it's a pleasant enough room though their comfy chairs are anything but. Their food looks like pretty standard lower end chain fare I have never ordered any because: 1- I can never quite get past that fact that their coffee is completely abysmal. For a place that sort of paints itself as a "coffee house" they fail right out of the gate for me. 2 - Frankly the couple of times we have gone we have stared at the menu for a while and have never found anything that even seems appealing enough *to* order. So, it's...okay. If you need a reasonably pleasant place to meet up with someone and are mostly indifferent to what you are consuming - go for it! (And if you are a coffee drinker with high standards - order tea!)

Been coming here since they opened, and I LOVE the place!!! Great location, especially in an area with little else of this type, plus easy parking. The staff has always been quick and efficient and always smiling. Not sure why so many bland past reviews. One of my favorite places to take my kids-- casual, but tasty, decent food that I like as well, and they treat the kids great, always respectful. Use a loyalty card for the free entree plus occasional specials, and the prices are decent, affordable.

One of the better Cosi's I have been to. Its near work..so we frequent it quite a bit. As usual, Cosi has a lot of vegetarian options. The staff in this unit are particularly friendly. I love the lemonade mojitos! (non-alcoholic). Free wireless! I usually get TB-soup / TBM melt sandwich / Hummus sandwich.

I like Cosi generally but they always seem to get my order wrong. The service is also slow and sometimes I wonder how they find the people to work there. It's not the worst place to go for a coffee or a sandwich if it's not too busy and you're not in a rush. One helpful tip: if you are getting food to go, check your order before you leave to make sure they got it right!

The service was absolutely horrible. The food was ok, definitely overpriced. The atmosphere is great but unfortunately I will never go back. I just can not get over how rude the staff is. The woman who seemed to be the manager was very friendly. But the young girls working there were nasty and unpleasant. Needless to say, I will NOT be back!

A nice place to grab lunch or something on the go--I especially like their hummus platter that comes with the most amazing baked-on-site Cosi bread ever. I also like their tomato, basil, and mozzarella sandwich but since tomatoes make me gag, I just get it without the tomato.

I've eaten lunch at this Cosi's at least 30 times. I'm very surprised by the reviews which complained of slow service. I have NOT had slow service during lunch. Once I was there for dinner, and the service was slow.
